In Memoriam of Dr. Russell Sacco

After a fight with cancer, the pro-life movement lost one of its unsung heroes, Dr. Russell Sacco, this June. A father of four and grandfather to eight, he is also survived by Elizabeth, his loving wife of 58 years.

Dr. Sacco and ORTL Education Foundation Board President Dr. Joan Sage

Dr. Sacco, a urologist who practiced in Oregon and one of the founding members of Oregon Right to Life, might not be familiar to you but his impact on the pro-life movement cannot be quantified.

I’m sitting here in tears. What a wonderful, wonderful man! Our pro-life group has given out thousands of those precious feet pins and I had no idea of the story behind them. Bless that unsung hero. And thank you for writing his story.

Obtained a pin of “tiny feet” at a streaming of the movie “unplanned” which I gave to my daughters.
How could I obtain one for myself?

What a beautiful legacy! I would absolutely love to have one of those pins. How do I find them?

What a great man who suffered and was treated so inadequately at the last stage of his life.
He will be remembered as one of the most wonderful person you can ever have as a friend and brother
